About Me
I am a work injury attorney and partner at Arizona's Work Injury Law Firm. This is my personal law blog and my opinions and content do not necessarily reflect those of my firm.
I represent Arizona injured workers on workers' compensation claims. I have devoted 100% of my legal practice to the area of work injuries and claim resolution, including Arizoana Full and Final Settlements. I am Workers’ Compensation Certified Specialist (State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization). I received my law degree from Brigham Young University and am licensed in both Texas and Arizona. As an undergraduate, I studies International Studies: International Law and Diplomacy with a Latin American Studies minor. I am fluent in Spanish and am pleased to assist our Spanish speaking injured workers.
I have been recognized by my peers as a Southwest Super Lawyer (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) and was previously recognized several times as a Southwest Super Lawyers Rising Star (2013, 2014, 2015). Being selected to Super Lawyers is limited to a small number of attorneys in each state. As one of the few attorneys to garner the distinction of Super Lawyers, I have earned the respect of peers as one of the top-rated attorneys in the nation.
Before representing injured workers, I was a founding partner and President of a pre-eminent workers’ compensation defense firm representing many of Arizona’s most significant employers. I have a passion for legal technology and was a pioneer in utilizing entirely cloud-based technology to operate my prior firm since 2011. I enjoy utilizing technology to enhance the client experience and provide effective and high quality repsentation for Arizona injured workers.
I have served on the board of directors of industry associations and continue to be active in legislative affairs affecting workers’ compensation. I am a frequent speaker at workers’ compensation industry educational events and seminars. I also served on the ICA’s Bench-Bar committee for many years.

I love all sports, playing golf and backyard grilling (my best skill). I spend most of my spare time supporting my children in basketball gyms all over the country.
